Private Childbirth Classes - Birthhands Maternity Services- Sherwood Park & Edmonton Doula

Childbirth classes are an excellent way to get an overview of pregnancy, labour and birth. They provide in depth information in the private setting of your own home, which will give you opportunities to ask questions that you might otherwise not feel comfortable asking. These classes are a great opportunity to build confidence and peace of mind and allow for special bonding in anticipation of baby's arrival. They serve as a safe setting to work through any of the difficult issues surrounding previous birth experiences, or fears and concerns for your upcoming labour.

Cost of the full childbirth series (two 3hr classes) is $150 (as of April 1, 2008), and the times we meet are flexible according to your scheduling needs. These classes are perfect for those who work shift-work or have been unable to find an available group class through the local health units. If you are a doula client, you can take the classes at a discount!
